My practice is all about providing my clients with inviting and innovative built environments. Every project—whether it is a custom-designed piece of furniture, an addition to an existing structure, or an entirely new building—is an opportunity to explore the extent to which the built environment can positively impact the client. I bring both scientific/engineering and artistic backgrounds into every aspect of my work.

Solutions must be both practical and beautiful. They must function as needed, be easy to operate and maintain, make efficient use of our natural resources, and be built within the client’s budget. They must be sympathetic to their surroundings, elicit a feeling of enjoyment and elevate the appreciation of the built and natural environment. Just ask the clients and builders I have worked with.
